like katniss101 i am also doing a book report on the hunger games for high school and became a big fan and got the sequl. but on thing i hope to god dosent happen, team peeta and team gale.

So our hairstylist gave books 1 & 2 to my 20 yr old to read. I was so hooked that I took book two away from her to read and than gave it back to her. I am soooo hooked and can't wait for the final book!!

I just finished re-reading the first two books, I can't wait to get my hands on Mockingjay! I didn't even know they were making it into a movie, I know it will not be as good as the book but I can't wait to see it anyway!

A local book store in my town was selling it and i was wondering why? i guess they put it out on the shelves early before the release date! I've already read a little and im not going to spoil anything but the book is amazing!!!!!!! I love the hunger games series!!!

@Singularity , I am not sure but most likely the price will change. I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon. I received an email that it has been shipped today, and most likely I will get it on the 26th. But I cannot really wait to read the book, I might as well pick up a copy from the local book store. I'm just really obsessed. lol

Most likely the prices will change. I'm supposed to get mine today though, and I pre ordered it. I'm all about cheaper books. And if it really does come within the next 2 hours like my shipment says it will, then I get it before the release date even

SPOIL ALERT. Yes, Peeta lives. But he was hijacked by the Capitol, or in other words, brainwashed. So, he attacked Katniss, trying to kill her. But, over time, they hijack him back and he gets better, remembering that he loved Katniss. In the end, they grow back together, get married and have two kids. This was mentioned in the epuloge. Gale stays in District 2, some fancy job or something, and her mom doesn’t return to Dictrict 12, but stays in 4 to help start a hospitol. You should read the books. It’s bound to be better then the movie, although i am eager to see who the Peeta is going to play….better be hot.
