Fan-Made Short Film: Katniss and Finnick in Mockinjay
Here’s a fan-made short film based on the third book of The Hunger Games series. Finnick tells Katniss how he distracts himself by tying knots over and over again.

Do you guys happen to have a short film of Catching Fire?? Because I’ll watching anything about The Hunger Games Trilogy so I’ll have something to do other than read the books over and over and over again. See, I just can’t wait for Catching Fire. And by the way I love how you guys filmed it but maybe… You could have made Paul more distracted with his rope than talking to Katniss or make him look more crazy because I don’t see like a bewilderment in his eyes when the bombs triggered like giving him some kind of thoughts on what’s happening with Annie and maybe make him wear a hospital dress. No offense and all even though it may sound offensive on your case. Sorry. Anyways, that’s my opinion.

Hmm… Not bad. Finnick is supposed to be a bit more crazed at this point, not relaxed. It might’ve been better if the girl who read for Katniss was actually sitting next to him – that way we get the full effect. And also, Finnick’s speech pattern doesn’t sound like he’s scared that he might lose Annie at any point, so you need to work on that (make sure you feel the character and really become Finnick). This is coming from one actor to another. But I liked the effort, I really did. Just a couple of spots you need to work on, if you were to be Finnick.
