I have SO many favorite quotes! But they are from the book, but I’ll just put them here anyway!
(book) “It crosses my mind that Cinna’s calm and normal demeanor masks a complete madman.” -Katniss Everdeen
I like this quote because it gives Cinna more of a mysterious personality!
(book) “District 12: Where you can starve to death in safety.” -Katniss Everdeen
This quote really strikes you because Katniss can either risk her life to be healthy or risk her life to be safe. It’s a lose/lose situation.
(book) “Rue, who when you ask her what she loves most in the world, replies, of all things, “Music.”
I love Rue. So much..
(movie) “I haven’t realized it until now, I’ve been dead all along, haven’t I?” – Cato
It makes me think of the pressures the children in District 1&2 had to go through. I’m sure the parents made sure that the kids trained for this, and made sure they would win. Maybe Cato has a gentile personality, but was tainted by the capitol.
“If I’m gonna die I wanna still be me.”
I thought it was disgusting and unnecessary for her to threaten the cat. I haven’t yet seen that in the first book, and doubt it was in any book, and it sickens me that stupid kids and adults “love” that remark. Too many idiots think hurting cats is OK and idiots murder black cats. I bet the filmmakers changed the yellow cat to a black one because MAYBE test audiences reacted negatively to a yellow cat threatened but dismissed or ignored a threat to a black one. It isn’t funny nor good at all and makes Katniss look like a heartless bitch, while in the book, she accepted the cat, fed him entrails from rats. He is family, not a dinner. Shut up jerks who think it is cute or funny.
Fav quote thats so hard. I love all the qoutes from the reaping in book 1 to the end of the rebellion in book 3.
But most fav quote from movie would be

My favorite quote? Definitely when Rue whispers to Katniss: “You have to win.” I was so moved and that was when tears started streaking down my face.
Peeta: What happens when we get back?
Katniss: I dont know.. I we try to forget.
Peeta: I dont want to forget.
Peeta’s last line is so touching!

My favorite line would have to be when Katniss is in the tree in the movie, as the Career’s are at the bottom and Cato climbs up the tree to catch Katniss and doesn’t. Tgen Katniss says “Why didn’t you throw that knife?”. HILARIOUS!!
i love the bit when they were in the cave and Peeta rubbed his thumb over Katniss forhead with the cut, also when she got the letter saying ‘you call that a kiss’.
and i loved it when she shot the arrow at the pig in the room and the look on everyones faces. also the people at the start well when they arrived the people all looked funny and lots of bright colours. and when Katniss kissed Peeta and her best friend saw them kiss the look on his face wanted me to say its ok.
also sorry i just love this move, but how Peeta blended in with the rock in the games and how he made his hand blend in with the tree at the training room just awesome
All you people who put the line Katniss said in the tree surrounded by the careers fail. she says “why don’t you just trow the SWORD” not knife or spear.
