After hours of thinking and trying to pick one character, I decided my choice couldn’t be anyone else than Cinna. Why? Because he’s one of rare people, who ALWAYS believed in Katniss. In her strength, independence and incredible courage. He was someone she could count on anytime. Someone with whom she could be 100% honest. Someone she could trust in anything. He would never let her down. Cinna was probably the only one stylist from all of them in Capitol, who didn’t just try to make designs, fitting just to someone’s body. He tried to fit it to someone’s soul. To Katniss’ soul. And that’s what I love about him. He was so outstanding. He would never do anything what Katniss wouldn’t like. He was probably one of the most precious characters in all three books. And I had some troubles between picking him and Finnick Odair, but Cinna won thanks to his amazing reliability, creativity and the most important: incredible loyalty. He found Katniss a symbol of revolution long time before anyone else started follow her steps. That’s why he always said he keeps betting on her, the girl on fire. And that’s why I’m betting on him. Always.
my favorite character in catching fire not including Katniss,Peeta,and Gale would probably be Johanna Mason
My favorite character is Prim because she’s so caring,mature for her age,and brave!
This is a tough question, but I would most definitely pick Johanna Mason. This is because I love her resourcefulness and her extremely clever idea of pretending to be a softie in her first games so that she would be left alone till last. And she’s such a fantastic fighter. Plus she’s so strong mentally and physically. She didn’t break down like so many other tributes did previously. I just love Johanna. Not to mention how tough she is and all.

This question is tough for me. Everyone that talks to me knows how much I love Katniss. She is my ultimate favorite character. TEAM KATNISS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!! <3 But if you take Katniss out of the picture, my favorite character in Catching Fire is Mags. To be honest, I do really love Primrose more than Mags, but if I had to pick my favorite out of Catching Fire, then I would definitely choose Mags. She is so sweet!!!! I love her kindness, her respect, her soft heart, and I love her!! She volunteered for Annie just like Katniss volunteered for Prim
She hobbled off into the deadly mist just to save Peeta's life to keep Katniss in their alliance. She is a very sweet old woman that everyone who reads Catching Fire falls in love with!! I am so sorry that she had to die.

I also really love Prim. I love that we get to watch her grow up throughout the series and we get to see her become more like Katniss and watch as she helps other people. She is a kind hearted little girl

I have allways liked Cinna he Is my favorite hunger games character he is a great stylist and a good friend to katniss he has always been there for here since the beggining!

I love all three of them but my next is haymitch he is not that great of a mentor but he is good haymitch is hard to like but I love him!
Cinnamon because he is a supporter and believer in katniss. He cares about her and wants to do as much as he can for her. He uses her to show wat he believes and katniss loves him for that . So sad to see him go in catching fire.
I decided Johanna Mason after a little hesitation between her and Finnick Odair. I decided on Johanna because she is firce and not afraid to show people who she really is, and even though she’s not remotly nice, she has an attitude just like me! And she was smart to figure out that if she pretended like she was a weakling the tributes would overlook her and she would end up as the victor of her games. However, I also like Finnick Odair because even though, given the circumstances, he had all his capital lovers but he only truly loved Anne Cresta the young, mad woman from district 4, the fishing district. Oh yeah sorry I got distracted anyways, I pick Johanna Mason, district 7,lumber.
My favourite character besides the trio would probably be Finnick Odair. At first glance, he’s just another pretty boy, bred by the Capitol to induce females and males (sometimes) too. But as the story progresses, we come to learn that he’s much more than that.
CINNA! because he is always in Katniss’ side. he sacrificed himself just for Katniss.
Haymitch is the abolsolute favourite with me. He must be thankful for Peeta taking his position when he was reaped at the reaping. The only thing Haymitch can do is look after them both, but he knows different due to the rebellion with Plutarch. He shows his courage by supporting them both by sending them the nessicery parachutes and looks after them both no matter what the situation, as he does in all of the three books. There is no doubt that under his drunken mess, he is actually a very kind person who would go out of his own way to look after the people who he cared about.

There were quite a few characters I wanted to pick as my favourite,but after some deliberation I have decided that my favourite character in Catching Fire is Wiress.

Finnick because he is hilarious and his personality shines.
I already answered this last time, but I will do it again. I like Finnick because despite all he has gone through he manages to keep a positive spin on life. He also has a funny sense of humor how he made Katniss uncomfortable with the whole sugar cube thing, I was laughing so hard, and also he is cocky yet down to earth. And lastly, no matter his I am better than everyone els attitude and the fact he can kill so ruthlessly, he is still a sensitive guy. And that shows through Mags and Annie. :’)

i like mags because she enters so a younger person wont have to risk their life. also she lets herself die in the fog so the others can go on and not get killed
I loved Finnick, because all that he had gone through and dealt with…but my favorite is probably Mags. Because she gave her life for Katniss and the others. She was older, and wanted the younger ones to live. And giving your life is very very honorable and respectable. And Mags is awesome!!!

OK, so all of my favorite characters have been said a couple times….but that doesn’t really matter to me! I think other than Katniss and Peeta, my favorite would have to be Mags. Im always a big fan of the background characters, the ones that have to do with the story but usually die pretty soon. The fact that she gave up her life, because cmon guys when they said a old woman we all knew she was going to die, so that annie wouldn’t have to, now thats the nicest thing anyone could ever do for anyone else. I also believe that she did it so that Finnick would be one step closer to getting back home to Annie.
Cinna is the best. He is a steadfast supporter of Katniss and had more faith in her than she even had in harself.
