1. How did you learn about The Hunger Games?
I first heard about The Hunger Games from my math teacher, Mrs. Blake. She was explaining the main idea of the book to me. She told me that The Hunger Games was about kids killing other kids in an arena until one remains and this is what they had to do because they were bossed around by mean, powerful people in a Capitol. From that explanation, I wanted nothing to do with The Hunger Games, and I forgot about it for a while. Then, when I first saw the movie preview come out on the news, to me it looked like a pretty good movie that was worth seeing. I still had Mrs. Blake’s explanation stuck in my head, but I still went to see the movie in theaters. When it was finished, I absolutely, positively, most definitely loved The Hunger Games!!! Especially Katniss. I loved how the movie had a strong female role and I really enjoyed Jennifer Lawrence’s acting skills. I loved the movie so much that I went to Walmart the next day and bought the book (Now, Just to let you know, I am the type of person that hates reading). I finished it in 2 days and bought Catching Fire, finished in 1 day, and bought Mockingjay, finished it in 3 days. I am reading the trilogy for the second time now and I’m on Mockingjay again.

1. How did you learn about The Hunger Games?I saw the book in my school library, I read the back, I thought it looked interesting, so I checked it out, and I fell in love immediately.2. If you were born in the dystopian era, what do you think would your life be? Would you be living in one of the districts or would you be enjoying a fabulous life in the Capitol?I would like to live in District 12 with Katniss. I don’t fit in at the Capitol because I don’t like fashion. I’ve always wanted to learn how to hunt with a bow. And I love archery.

1. How did you learn about The Hunger Games?
When my grandpa was in the hospital, my mom over heard my aunt and a nurse talking about a book. They told her it was The Hunger Games. She came home and said my aunt was going to lend her the book. It was about two months before the movie came out and i had heard a lot about it. Sadly my grandpa had died and we were having a garage sale with all of this things. My dad and I went to my aunt’s house to get something for the sale. She gave me the book to give to my mom. I read the back and thought I should read it since it was so popular. I told my mom that I wanted it after she was done. Well my mom took to long reading the first chapter so I bought the trilogy the next day. I officially was hooked.
2. If you were born in the dystopian era, what do you think would your life be? Would you be living in one of the districts or would you be enjoying a fabulous life in the Capitol?
I think I would live in the Capitol. I love things that are nice and fancy, and to be honest I’m kind of lazy so I don’t think I would like to work as a coal miner or a fisherman. Of course I’d like to day I’d live with Katniss or Rue but I like the Capitol.

1. How did you learn about The Hunger Games?
I learned about the Hunger Games from everyone in my year because everyone was reading it so I eventually did too.
2. If you were born in the dystopian era, what do you think would your life be? Would you be living in one of the districts or would you be enjoying a fabulous life in the Capitol?
If I was living in the Dystopian Era I would like to be living in one of the districts even though it’s not that luxurious I would like to help take part in the uprising because they need all the help they can get.
