Which scene you wanna see in CF???

Okay, Which scene from the book should make it to the film??

Since I think The Hunger Games is a good ACTION novel and movie; but I think that Catching Fire goes deepest into a ACTION-DRAMA novel and movie. Because I don't know why when I read Catching Fire the first thing I thought was "This could be a good ass movie, but needs great acting". I think that Catching Fire lets a little of the action side away and into the dramatic side more so the reader gets what's going on besides just a cool action novel. And while I was reading some critics saying that Woody and Jennifer (Haymitch and Katniss) are high caliber actors... they couldnt act to potencial. And when I think of movie I always think of the term "Oscar-Worthy" for either a scene or an acting of a certain character, so I think that these particularly scenes should be in the movie.

1) The Quater Quell's reaction: I think that this could be CF's RUE SCENE (in terms of me crying like a wuss) because it's such an important moment in the book (for me) because you can see how mentally and emotionally traumatized Katniss is with the Games. I think they should take all of them's reaction (Haymitch, Peeta, Katniss and Gale) because Peeta and Haymitch were in the games too... and Haymitch is really really messed up thanks to them. I think that if we have two Oscar Nominees and two promising (and hot) actors, they should let us and the rest of the audience feel what they felt.

2) The Almost Kissing Peeta: I know is not an important part of the book, but for good or bad... they need some comedy in the movie so the people wont get iffy jaja. I am talking about the scene when Finnick and Katniss scare Peeta when he was sleeping. Because in HG people were like iffy until the scene of Haymitch and Effie's reaction at the pig incident, and people really enjoyed that part.

3) The Seneca Crane Hanging Incident: I think this could be so frikin cool to have what happened with both Peeta and Katniss during that Gamemaker's session. Cause to be honest, it was the Bad-Ass moment of the whole book.

4) Mags Death: I dont care, I wanna see it... and it better be good. And also the meaning of Mags to Finnick (Including Annie Cresta) should be explained.

5) Johanna vs Katniss Fights: Does were awesome... period.

6) The Peeta and Katniss dialoges are very important.

Well, I have many more but I wanna hear yours, what scenes would you like to see in CF???

ooooohhh that's a good question.
I will be starting another reading of CF soon so I will probably post back then. I really enjoy any moment that has Katniss and Peeta together to be honest so I would like to see some emphasis on that aspect.

What I definitely want to see:

1. Katniss and Peeta's reunion in the beginning of catching fire. That was a very CUTE moment.

2. Gale's whipping. It was very depressing but we see Katniss defend him and take a whipping to her face, which was very brave.

3. Bonnie and Twill. They are VERY important characters since they came from District 13. That has to be introduced.

4. The introduction of Finnick and his famous "Want a sugar cube?" line. I love his humor.

5. Johanna and Katniss moments. I wanna see Johanna slap Katniss. Idk why but that scene was very interesting to me. And I also want to see them at each other's throats. That will be fun to see.

6. Katniss hanging the Seneca Crane dummy. I LOVE that part.

7. A lot more of Katniss and Peeta dialogue. This is very important.

8. More of Gale and Katniss. This is also very important.

9. All the intense fight scenes in the movie. There are so many terrifying deaths, but they are all very well written.

10. Katniss' encounter with President Snow. This is one of the most important parts of the book. There better be a confrontation between these two.

What I definitely want to see:

I completelly agree on each of them. Cause I think they should forget about the lenght and rating, cause both things are holding them a little and that makes them cut and cut parts.

Well I think that the length of the movie won't affect what we see in the movie if they know what are the important things are to show and what we could live without seeing in the movie. Small random parts can to taken out and more important dialogues, moments, etc can be put in instead. But yes rating will definitely put a strain on what we see in the movie as far as the arena goes but I think we'll be given a bit more with this movie.

I am actually looking forward the new arena and the new characters, especially Finnick and old Mags. Her death in the fog was quite dramatic. Also, Katniss vs. President Snow seems exciting, considering the fact that the actors playing their parts (Jennifer Lawrence and Donald Sutherland) have that certain prestige that only few other cast members share. And since I am girl, I want to see more of Peeta and Katniss. I'm not so sure about more of Gale and Katniss because I am in doubt Liam Hemsworth can handle Gale brilliantly till the very end.

My absolute most favorite scene in the trilogy is when Peeta and Katniss are sitting on the beach and he gives her the mockingjay necklace. They must include that in the movie! I personally think it's a pivotal moment when you know 100% Katniss loves Peeta. When she says that sensation she gets about wanting more and how it's different from all the other times. Also when Katniss jumps onto Peeta and they fall in the snow, that's cute! Ok enough with fangirl.

-Also I'm looking forward to watching the scene when Katniss reacts to the Quarter Quell. I know Jennifer Lawrence said herself she really wants to act that scene, so it's no doubt going to be an amazing performance by her.
-Introduction of Finnick and when he says "Want a sugar cube?"
-When they realize that the arena is a clock.
-Katniss and Peeta's victory parade in District 11. It's going to be really interesting to see Katniss react to seeing Rue's family, and Thresh's.

But yeah there are a lot of scenes I want to be included in Catching Fire! Unfortunately, I know a lot will be cut.

There are many more but I feel these are the major ones that need to be in the movie.
