Questions about the movie Catching Fire..

Have they started or finished filming the second movie yet? If so, anyone know anything about the cast or if they are in the process of filming now... and if so where? Shouldn't they be in the process of filming it... cause it should be coming out next year... or have they decided not to do the second book?

Does anyone KNOW???? yes I'm that excited. LOL

Filming is supposed to start in summer or fall this year, with a release date of November 22nd 2013. The new director is Francis Lawrence. They have to finish filming by the end of the year, as Jennifer Lawrence has to film the sequel to X-Men: First Class. As for the cast, Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson will be returning as their characters. No word on the rest of the cast.

I heard in an interview today that "Catching Fire" comes out November 2013.

I thought filming was starting this summer but in an interview Josh Hutcherson said he gets this summer off. So I assume no filming is going on until Fall 2012.

And Sid already said all this. Should read the posts before I answer. But I just found this board tonight. I'm so happy to find a fanboard.

They most likely won't be going out in training the month before in HG, with all the tributes. They will likely go with the cast of them seasoned stunt people. Wasn't as much wrote in the book about the training before the game as in HG also.Likely they will start in August filmming.I see a better budget for CF. 120 plus publicity at 50. They spending more time overseas before the film comes out doing interviews.

Liam is about to shoot the Paranoia movie. I saw the other day Lucas Till to be in that also. I don't see Liam being any more in CF as HG. So he can come on CF when is already filmming. Jennifer has to be in X-men in January. Josh has the Journey 3 movie. I'm sure they will film in the spring to get it out in 2014. Color Force is saying HG 3 is in 2015 in there IMDb site. Thats most likely a summer to fall 2013 shooting.
