Mockingjay - the lost scenes

I tell him, "Real"

Almost directly I fall asleep.

In my nightmares all the dead people that I know come and are screaming to me. I'm sitting on a chair and can't move. I wake up, I don't know what time it is. only thing that I'm worried about is where is Peeta? I rush out of my bed and try to find him. Soon I find him outside. Sitting there in the cold and staring into the black sky. I decide to make some hot milk and get outside. I give him a mug and take one myself. After a while he starts talking "I'm sorry I left you, I just coudn't sleep and I'm still having problems with my transformation" I lay my head against his arm and whisper. "it is okay, I had a nightmare but it is a hard time for me too" After some hours (or it feels like hours) I decide to go inside and make a fire in the fireplace. after a few minutes Peeta is also comming in. We are lying on the couch and he is taking me in his arms. With the nice hot fire, and knowing that peeta won't leave me again I fall asleep. The next morning I'm still lying into the arms from peeta. When I turn my head I see he is already awake. I look him into the eyes, and kiss him. After a few minutes of kissing we both get up and are going to eat something. I want to tell him that I want to call my mother again, After a silence I tell him I also want to speak to gale. I saw he frowned when I look up, But when I explain to him that I can't let it go between me and gale, because for 5 years we did everything with each other. He understands it and leaves me so I can call....

It is a good start. We somehow lost 20 years at the end of Mockingjay, so there can be many lost scenes!

Another part, I don't know if I will include Annie in it, Also I'm still looking for some action however not the kind of action that I have to write 4 books to make it complete. If anyboyd knows something please let me know

It is a smart way to force me to go call my mom, Peeta knew that I was still not sure if I had to call after the last time, he even knew more that I did. Feeling like I'm 30pound heavier I get up and walk to the phone. Slowly I take the phone and type in the number of the hospital my mom is working in.

BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEP

I hear a grumpy voice saying hello, I try to be as friendly as I can: "Hello, I'm looking for my mother, misses Everdeen, is she there" after a few seconds she noticed that she is having the "mockingjay" on the line. Directly I can hear her voice becomming much nicer. "ehh yeah, But I have to find her. Give me some minutes" I don't even give a answer because I can hear that she already putted the phone down. After a minute wat feels like 30minutes I hear 2 people walking back. Before my mom is on the telephone I can hear her saying that its alright and that the other woman can go. I can hear that her voice is sad.
Before I can say anything I already feel a tear rolling from my cheek. Than I hear hello from the other line. "Mom..." and directly I start to cry. I can't do anything about it. But it makes me happy that my mom is also crying. Last time it was just like this, also both crying. But in some way it helps me, but in the other way knowing that my mom cries, is not helping me. After a few minutes I start telling her that I'm sorry that I never trusted her in a way I should have done. It is going slowly but any thing is a litte bit progress. When I'm done she starts with saying what she is having on her hart. When I hear prim's name I start crying again. And be both know that prim will never die for us, for us both prim will always stay in our hearts. Than I hear a fast beeping sound on the other line. *beep* *beep* *beep* "I'm really sorry Katniss, I have to go. a patient is almost dying, I love you" the only thing I can say is "I love you too" before I hear another beeping sound that she hang up.

Knowing that this isn't the right time call Gale I put the phone back. I call peeta that he can come back to the living room where the fire is still burning. Directly when he comes into the room he wrapes his arms around me. We both go sit on the couch. He asks how it was. Still feeling sad I say it was okay. I keep staring that the flames. We both do. Until I turn my head and ask him: "you know our first game, in the cave" I hear a mumbling that he agrees, "you still know that you told me you already loved me the first day you saw me on school when I had to sing?" again he agrees. and than I ask: "is that true?" It keeps silent for a while. Than he says "It was already before you had to sung, I fell in love with you when I saw you" And he is giving me a big kiss, Wich I answer with another kiss.....

Tomorrow I will call gale, but for now I'm totally for Peeta. However Gale will stay in the back of my head. But for these time I still forget him.

very nice - i like all the feelings. I too would like to see her be friends with Gale. Also, I would like to see Peeta friends with Joanna - they share a lot - both used underestimation to win their game and both were tortured - wonder if Katniss would be jealous of Joanna, or Delly even?

As you see the last post from me is a little while back. And as I told you in pm i'm away from home between 7 and 6, from monday until saturday and beside that I also have my own life to deal with. So I haven't had much time to write more for this FF,

Maybe in a few weeks when I got spare time again I will deal with it.
