Favorite moment out of all three books?

What was the moment and why do you like it?

My favorite moment would have to be Cato's death because it was very descriptive and very interesting to read.

Hmmm I have some, but they are favorites for different reasons. One is when they announce the 3rd Quarter Quell (I was totally in shock). Another I'll sum it up in a quote

-Don't let him take you from me
-No. I don't want to..
-Stay with me
-Always


Another is the mission to infiltrate the Capitol. Aaaand the part where Peeta is planting the Primroses

Well there are many many favorites...but if i had to rank them....When Katniss remembers hearing Peeta tell her "always" i think thats when she really started to let herself love him and realize how much he loved her....

I actually used this answer in a similar post, but my all-time favorite moment was in Catching Fire when Peeta "announced" Katniss' pregnancy. What a moment that was!

One of the things that I found rather bizarre about the second book was the idea that it made sense to give all the rebels a TV platform to voice their discontent and manipulate the audience in the same way that the Capitol was attempting to.

But then again the previous administration here formed an alliance with Gadaffi, a guy who financed and organized far more terrorist acts than Bin Laden (including bombing two passenger jets) in order to get his support in a war against Saddam Hussein who used to be one of ours. And the guy who was supposed to replace Saddam (Chalabai) was a guy who was convicted of a billion dollar bank fraud in Jordan and had since worked for the Iranians as a spy.

So maybe it does make sense.

Oh yes - that is it. "Real." My gf is like that - she loves me very much but she is no where as affectionate as I am (things in her life happened different then mine and she has her own nightmares) but she gives her love in ways that take my breath away so now I say to her "real or not real" and she smiles, "real" - a goofy game I know but then she is my Katniss. All time Favorite part!!!!!!!

Well, for me, the second half of "Catching fire" was the best part. I mean, it was simply awesome. The idea of the Quarter Quell, the way Cinna made Katniss look breathtakingly beautiful once again, the arena (which was even more awesome)... I was out for a cup of coffee while reading it, and I was making all these weird sounds, eyes wide open, mouth even wider... I must have looked like a weirdo. Oh well...
