I would carefully scale the area, and the tributes, with my eyes while we are on the pedistals. I would stay away from the bloodbath, since I don't want to get killed on the first day. But I'd be the first one running as fast as I can towards the cornucopia, grab three backpacks and a sheath of bows and arrows, and run at full speed towards the woods, (assuming that it has woods). I'd climb swiftly up the tallest tree in my line of vision, tie myself into it, and then open up all of the bags. Hoping there's some useful things inside, and water, i'd try to make use of them. I'd take a nap, with a weapon at hand just in case, and then wake up later on. Then, i'd leave my things in a log marked with a huge line across the bottom, grab a weapon, and go hunt. Try to get rid of some weaklings, or possibly form an alliance with a smarty. Maybe even hunt for some rabbit or some form of meat, and roast it in a secluded place where there would be no smoke. After I come back with meat and the satisfaction of killing some tributes, without the success of forming an alliance because I didn't have enough time, i'd run up my tree with my things, and rest some more. After an hour of nibbling on some snacks, i'd search for water, fill up a container, and run deep into the woods, far from my camp. I'd roast the meat as fast as I could, throw it into a pack, and run fast towards the tree. I'd climb up, and eat the delicious rabbit. Maybe even drink some water. Then, i'd watch for the faces in the sky, being happy with at least thirteen tributes left. Fair amount. I'd continue for the rest of the time there, and be quick and quiet. Whoever i'd encounter, i'd be quick to shoot right at their heart. If they were too strong to kill or even hurt, i'd climb up the nearest tree, throw some knives, or just wait until they move on to another easier catch. I would probably win. Hopefully. But i'm only twelve, so who knows.
