re-reading

Postby Solid12 » Fri Sep 30, 2011 4:55 am

I am re-reading them through again. I wonder how many times people have done this? It does not take long to fall back in love with Katniss. "A kind Peeta Mellark is far more dangerous than an unkind one". I'll post my thoughts here as I go along.

I've always been a fan of rereading novels, especially something you read years ago or at a younger age. I think rereading allows you to pick up foreshadowing and tidbits that you didn't the first time through.

This is the first book I've ever re-read; it's just that good. While I'm re-reading, I'm re-imagining the world of Panem and the arena now that I've seen the movie trailer. It just makes me more anxious to see the movie.

I re-read the first book on my holiday. Now I'm reading the second book. When you re-read the book you can notice the details better which makes re-reading exciting - even you know what's going to happen in the book!

I agree, Im re-reading the novels right now. Each time you re-read novels you can feel as if you understand the characters better and possibly the whole novel itself.

I love re-reading books, specially series. I normally re-read them before their movie comes out or after that, you know, to compare it better and stuff. Also, no matter how many times you re-read a book, you'll have always missed something.

I usually don't even read books (let alone reread them) but reading THG was an accident (which later turned out to be the greatest thing of my year). I'm planning to reread them a day before the film releases

My re-reading was very special. When I read the books for the first time I didn´t cry. Then I watched the film and cried at the Reaping and Rue´s death. Then I read the books again and CRIED at the Reaping and Rue´s death. VERY MYSTERIOUS! :o
