When do you think we'll start getting casting info & pics?

I'm a latecomer to the fandom, so I wasn't paying too much attention when the first movie starting making news in the media (interviews, casting, info, set stills, etc.) When do you think we'll start getting casting info and pictures from the set? When did that start for the first movie?

From reading they are a bit still tweaking on the script. Everybody still on from HG also,except the director. Depends I suppose in how much he wants involved in the tribute casting. And trust Debra on that bit of who they are. Them in May since I think they will be stunt people so they won't go out and get on other movies instead. June I would say on the speaking parts people. They will drag a bit on Finnick till the script is final to know whats needed in him. I see Color Force is on from there posting for HG 3 and 4. Them saying 3 in 2015 and 4 ???.

I think I read they need to be done with filming come January... So it should be another couple of months until we get something at all. In some ways I'm glad there's still a few months to go. I know that when we start getting news I'll just be restless for the movie to come out and that'll be tough X_X

They might film a bit longer with Liam after January. He has the Paranoia movie a bit before Cf starts so he will come on late. I don't see a whole lot of Liam in the first. The whipping will get cut being PG-13 and no Madge. Can't show really blood in it. I see them with the showing of the uprising in dist'11 in HG. They doing the desruction of 12 in CF. Don't need Jennifer and Josh in that. Have more time showing Liam leading the survivors out,and getting picked up by 13. Maybe even showing Josh dragged down a hallway unconscious at the very end after Liam tells Katniss the news.

I'm really looking forward to when we start getting more info about casting and such. I bet the board here will be buzzing, won't it? I'm glad I finally found a fan forum like this! I'm really excited about the next movie. Still wondering just how they're going to pack in all the details from the book. I have no idea how they're going to do it, but I just hope the general "storyline" of the trilogy gets treated right. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they deal with Katniss and Peeta and how the two of them start off rocky, but then bond together again through all they go through. I'm fairly certain they'll include the CPR "kiss" between Finnick and Peeta in the arena. Holy hell...that's going to be funny if they do it right! I mean, it's so serious (Dead!Peeta!!!! ) but then Collins totally gives us a laughter-through-tears moment as she explains how the CPR looks to Katniss and how it stops her from killing Finnick....then the whole weeping uncontrollably over Revived!Peeta.....oh my goodness.....I can't wait! I can't wait!!! Please include that scene!!!!

So, a couple more months before we hear anything, you think? Hmmm.....*twiddles thumbs* I'll try to be patient....

You really think they won't show the whipping? I think they could if they do it right and without showing much. I feel it's an important bit of the story mainly because it shows how District 12 has come under a new rule. I mean, they did show children get killed in the first movie, there was blood, but they made it so it was bearable to be PG-13. Same with the ending and the mutts.

On a side, funny note, where I live, it was PG and not PG-13 lol! I always wondered why that was o_O

There's no way they'll leave out the whipping scene. It'll be there but we probably won't see it happen but probably hear it.

I don't think they'll leave out the whipping scene. That's a really important scene! They'll figure out how to stage it so that it remains within the PG-13 boundries if they want to include it.
