Elizabeth Banks to Receive “CinemaCon Award for Excellence in Acting”
Our very own Effie Trinket, Elizabeth Banks will be honored at the CinemaCon Awards. Congrats Elizabeth!

D.C. (April 4, 2013) – Elizabeth Banks will receive the “CinemaCon® Award For Excellence In Acting” at this year’s CinemaCon, it was announced today by the convention’s Managing Director Mitch Neuhauser. CinemaCon, the largest and most important convention for the motion picture theatre industry, will be held from April 15-18, 2013 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at which time more than 5,000 industry members will be gathering. Banks will be presented with this special honor at the “CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards” ceremony to take place on Thursday evening, April 18, in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Coca-Cola Company, the official presenting sponsor of CinemaCon, will host the final night gala awards program.
Elizabeth Banks and Twilight Actress Kristen Stewart To Star in ‘The Big Shoe’
According to Deadline, Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks and Kristen Stewart, who is known for playing Bella in Twilight, will be joining Jim Sturgess in Steven Shainberg’s The Big Shoe.
Sturgess plays a gifted shoe designer forced to break free from a family who wants to turn his designs into mass-produced knock-offs. The family hires psychotherapist Mary Kay (Banks) and muse Delphi (Stewart) to lure him back to work. Shainberg says the film will combine eroticism and humor in a similar way to dark comedy Secretary.

Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks shared a photo of her with Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron Tucker in Modern Family. She shared the photo with the following tweet, “Word seems to be trickling out, but rumor has it I’m back guest starring on another show. I’ll give you a hint”
EW has also confirmed that she’s indeed returning to the said tv series where she plays the role of Sal.
