Elizabeth Banks To Star in ‘Walk of Shame’
According to Variety, Elizabeth Banks will star in the upcoming comedy film, Walk of Shame which will start filming in January in Los Angeles.
Banks will play an aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor who loses an audition for her dream job, and goes out for an uncharacteristic night of partying that leads to waking in a stranger’s bed with no money, no car, no memory and a phone message from her agent that tells her she actually won the audition. She then must embark on a “walk of shame” across hostile neighborhoods on her quest to be on the air by 5 p.m.
Elizabeth Banks Confirms That Danny Strong Will Write Mockingjay Script
It has been previously reported by Variety, although not officially confirmed by Lionsgate, that Danny Strong will be writing that screenplay for the Mockingjay, which will be split into two movies. Elizabeth Banks, who stars as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games series, confirmed in her blog that the award winning screenwriter will indeed write the Mockingjay script.
On her site, ElizabethBanks.com, she asks fans, “Do you have any special requests for Danny Strong as he sits down to write the last two movies?” Head over to her site to leave a comment and hopefully Danny gets to read your request.
Elizabeth Banks Talks Filming The Hunger Games Sequel with Teen.com
Teen.com recently had a chat with Elizabeth Banks, who will be resuming her role as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
“I just met Phillip Seymour Hoffman [Plutarch Havensbee] for the first time, and he’s going to be amazing in the movie. He was doing a scene with Donald Sutherland [President Snow], so it’s really exciting.” Elizabeth, also added that Effie’s clothes this time around are “unreal,” and that “everything is getting taken up a notch.” We can’t wait!
